Presa Nueva Wind Farm project submits environmental permit application


Dublin, Ireland, August 19th, 2021 – ReVolve Renewable Power, (“ReVolve” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary company Presa Nueva Eólica S.A de C.V. has filed an environmental permit application with the Secretaría del Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (“SEMARNAT”) in Mexico seeking approval for the 403.2MW Presa Nueva wind project, which is being developed by the Company in the municipality of China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

The project is expected to include up to 96 wind turbines with a capacity of 4.2MW each and will be developed in two phases.


Development works on the project began in mid-2018 with the signing of land lease agreements and the installation of a met mast to commence the wind resource assessment. Since then the Company has completed detailed environmental studies, project engineering, rights of way and other permitting works. The Company has also applied for interconnection to the transmission network for the project.


The Company looks forward to working with SEMARNAT towards a successful outcome of the permit application process during 2022.
