Commissioning of 269MW Dolores Wind project

Dublin, Ireland, April 21st, 2021 – ReVolve Renewable Power, (“ReVolve” or the “Company”) welcomes the announcement by Enel Green Power that the 269MW Dolores Wind project has successfully commenced commercial operations. The project is located in the municipality of China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and consists of 83 wind generators and 79 kilometers of transmission lines, which will help generate the energy equivalent of the power consumption of 420,000 Mexican households.

The ReVolve team commenced the greenfield development of the Dolores Wind project in 2016 successfully bringing it through the development phases. The Company then exited the project through a sale to Enel Green Power following the successful award of a power purchase agreement for the project under the 3rd Long Term Auction held in Mexico in November 2017. The Company continued to work alongside Enel Green Power until the project commenced construction in Sept 2018.

The project is one of the largest windfarms in Mexico and will help avoid over 500,000 tonnes in CO2 emissions each year during its operational life.
